Sunrise to Hide 5,500 Easter Eggs for Hunt on Saturday

Sunrise Retirement Community's annual Easter eggs hunt will be held Saturday, April 22 on their campus at 5501 Gordon Drive in Sioux City. This event is open to all residents, family, and friends of Sunrise. Starting at 10 AM, there will be an egg hunt for the children of all ages. A record number of Easter eggs have been filled by our resident volunteers this year. Over 5,500 eggs will be hidden on the campus grounds. Special guest, Peter Cotton-Tail will be available for photographs. Children can also participate in the coloring contest and winners will receive special prizes. Entry forms are available at the Sunrise office. There will be a bake sale and proceeds will be donated to the Big Sioux Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Sunrise Retirement Community is Siouxland’s only community-based non-profit senior living community now celebrating its 50th anniversary of caring for seniors at all stages of aging, including those needing skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living and independent living.
