Sunrise to Hide 5,500 Easter Eggs for
Hunt on Saturday
Sunrise Retirement Community's annual
Easter eggs hunt will be held Saturday,
April 22 on their campus at 5501 Gordon Drive in Sioux City. This event
is open to all residents, family, and friends of Sunrise. Starting
at 10 AM, there will be an egg hunt for the children of all ages. A
record number of Easter eggs have been filled by our resident volunteers
this year. Over 5,500 eggs will be hidden on the campus grounds. Special
guest, Peter Cotton-Tail will be available for photographs. Children
can also participate in the coloring contest and winners will receive
special prizes. Entry forms are available at the Sunrise office. There
will be a bake sale and proceeds will be donated to the Big Sioux Chapter
of the Alzheimer’s Association.

community now celebrating its 50th anniversary of caring for seniors at
all stages of aging, including those needing skilled nursing, memory
care, assisted living and independent living.
