Sunrise Receives Support from Argosy Casino and Penn Gaming Foundation

Sunrise Retirement Community was presented with a check for $10,000 from the Argosy Casino for their capital campaign to build a new health center. Penn National Gaming Foundation has matched the gift with an additional $10,000.

"Giving back to the community is very important to the Argosy Casino," says Kees Eder, vice president and general manager. "We are committed to supporting local organizations through charitable donations."

Bev Zenor, executive director of Sunrise stated "We sincerely appreciate the generosity of the Argosy Casino and for the matching gift from Penn. Upcoming federal safety changes make it imperative for Sunrise to replace its existing health center."

Sunrise Retirement Community is Siouxland's only community-based non-profit senior living community now celebrating its 50th anniversary of caring for seniors at all stages of aging, including those needing skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living and independent living.
