City, IA 51106 www.sunriseretirement.com June 17, 2009 The Pointe at Sunrise Babby Ludwig has been appointed the new guest coordinator at The Pointe, Sunrise Retirement Community's newly opened independent apartment community. As guest coordinator Ludwig is responsible for concierge services and resident programming. Before joining Sunrise, Ludwig held various administrative positions at Mercy Medical Center, Neurology Associates, Midlands Clinic, Siouxland Community Health and Siouxland Mental Health. A resident of Lawton, Ludwig was a volunteer with the Lawton Ambulance Squad for 8 years. Renate Reiss Rosentrader is the new wellness nurse at The Pointe at Sunrise. Since 2003 Rosentrader has been on the staff of Sunrise as an RN where she managed total patient care for the skilled care residents. In her new role at The Pointe Rosentrader will perform all resident health screen assessments, administer flu, pneumonia and tetanus shots and perform blood pressure checks. Rosentrader provides residents information on wellness and is there to answer questions about medications or calls the pharmacists for answers. Rosentrader has spent the past 11 years in health care working for various home health care agencies, and nursing homes. Rosentrader received her nursing degree from Western Iowa Tech in 2001 and additional education from Briar Cliff University. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society and is a member of the Home Health Care Nurses Assoc.
