Sunrise Nursing Facility and Assisted Living/ Residential Respite Care Program
Sunrise is pleased to offer Nursing Respite programs for temporary care. Respite care can provide temporary support, rehabilitation and relief for the resident and oftentimes the primary caregiver.
Your attending physician will certify your stay as a Nursing Facility Respite Admission. A chest x-ray or current TB test is necessary prior to admission. This can be arranged through your physician. Due to existing pharmacy regulations, we are unable to use your medications from home. Durable medical equipment may be brought from home.
Respite stays should be scheduled in advance. This may be arranged by contacting our Social Service Coordinator or Health Center Administrator at (712) 276-3821.
Sunrise Nursing Facility Respite Care:
Length of stay: meets short term stay needs
Cost: $157.00 per day
Services - 24-hour professional nursing staff.
- Medication administration by licensed nursing personnel.
- Three meals per day including supervised diets.
- Physical Therapy program
- Therapeutic Recreational Program
- Housekeeping, Laundry and Linen Services.
- Partial/Total Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
- Special treatments as directed by physician.
- Furnished room.
- Chaplain services.
- Social Services.
Addition Services - Respiratory treatments: $15.00 per treatment
- Beauty and Barber services cost sheet is available at the Business Office
- Laundry Marking Service: $25.00 one time fee
- Laundering of personal clothing: $30.00 per month
- Van Service: $20.00 one way / $25.00 round trip
Fountain View Assisted Living Respite Care:
Length of stay: short term
Cost: One bedroom Apartment = $104.00 per day Studio Deluxe = $94.00 per day Studio = $89.00 per day
Services - 24-hour professional nursing staff.

- Three meals per day including supervised diets.
- Physical Therapy program
- Therapeutic Recreational Program
- Housekeeping, Laundry and Linen Services.
- Partial/Total Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
