Capital Campaign Help
Simply put, we need your help—and we need it now. Here's
why:
- Looming federal safety deadlines require extensive changes
to our current space that are neither practical nor cost
effective.
- Siouxland is aging, and we must be prepared.
At least 15% of our community's
population is now age 65 or older — with anticipated increases to 22%
by 2030.
- Construction delays result in accelerated building costs
and reduction of available funds.
- A new health center ensures our
ability to remain competitive. Corporate conglomerates have entered
our market, but they cannot match the powerful,
person-centered care we demonstrate daily within the community we call
home.
- With a $7 million operating budget, 250 residents,
and 180 employees, Sunrise has a significant impact
on the local economy.
New Health Center
The proposed new health center will feature:
- Two resident-centered,
skilled nursing care neighborhoods
- Medicare outpatient
therapy
- Assisted living neighborhoods
- Assisted living memory care
neighborhood
- Infrastructure support for Sunlight and
Bernstein memory care communities
