Founded in 1960, Sunrise Retirement Community is a leader in senior living choices. We're also the region's largest, locally managed, not-for-profit continuing care community. Business leaders applaud our economic impact. Residents thrive. Families sing our praises. Employees enjoy their work. Field experts commend our innovation. We're at the top of our game, but we're aging, too.

Building and health regulations make it impossible to operate our existing health center beyond 2011. Short-term fixes fail to offer long-term, cost-effective solutions. Instead, we look to the future — and we plan to build a comprehensive new health center.
