Sunrise Retirement Community is the only community-based, not-for-profit, long-term care center in Siouxland which provides the entire continuum of care from independent living to specialized memory care for individuals with Alzheimer’s and related disorders.
We are committed to providing housing and services in a way that insures a physical and care environment which maximizes the dignity and independence of each resident.

Sunrise is committed to the elderly population.  We support our elders as individuals who are still growing, still learners, still with potential and whose life continues to have within it promise for, and connection to the future.  We believe that our elders are still in pursuit of happiness, joy and pleasure, and his/her birthright to these remains intact.  Moreover, we acknowledge our elders as people who deserve respect and honor and whose work it is to synthesize wisdom from long life experience and formulate this into a legacy for the future.
